TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Agreement

TaskForge (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides digital design and development services. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“Client”, “you”) and TaskForge when you:

• Request a quote or place an order through our Discord server
• Pay an invoice or full payment for any listed product or custom project
• Receive deliverables from us in any form

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not place an order or make a payment.

2. Services

We offer, but are not limited to:

• Websites — frontend-only sites, full-stack sites with backend, and bespoke custom builds
• Discord bots — ticket bots, redeem/role bots, custom Discord bots, and bot bundles
• Product bundles — combined website and Discord bot packages at listed bundle rates
• Custom projects — scoped individually when standard tiers do not apply

Exact scope, features, and deliverables are defined in your quote, ticket, or order confirmation. Anything not explicitly included is out of scope unless agreed in writing (Discord ticket/message counts).

3. Quotes & enquiries

All enquiries and quotes are handled through our Discord server. When you contact us:

• Provide accurate information about your project, timeline, and requirements
• Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise
• A quote becomes an order only after you accept it and pay in full
• We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion

Response times are estimates, not guarantees. We aim to reply within 24 hours on business days but cannot be held liable for delays caused by volume, time zones, or platform outages.

4. Payment terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• 100% upfront is required before work begins
• No work starts until full payment is received and confirmed
• Accepted methods include PayPal, Stripe, and cryptocurrency where available
• All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise
• Payment processing fees charged by third-party providers may be passed to the Client where applicable

Work may be paused or withheld if payment is late, incomplete, or reversed.

5. Delivery & timelines

Estimated delivery windows are provided in good faith based on project scope. Timelines may shift if:

• You delay feedback, approvals, or required assets
• Scope changes or additional features are requested mid-project
• Third-party APIs, hosting, or Discord services experience downtime
• Force majeure events occur beyond our reasonable control

Delivery means provision of agreed files, bot setup, credentials, or access as defined in your order. For Discord bots, delivery includes full setup and hosting by TaskForge—we invite and configure the bot in your Discord server on your behalf.

6. Revisions

Standard tiers include reasonable revisions within the original agreed scope. Revision limits, if any, will be stated in your quote.

• Revisions must be requested within 14 days of delivery unless otherwise agreed
• Requests outside the original scope are treated as new work and may incur additional fees
• Major redesigns, new pages, new commands, or feature additions are not free revisions

7. Refunds & cancellations

Because our work is custom and labour-based, refunds are limited as follows:

• Before work starts: You may cancel for a full refund of amounts paid, minus any non-refundable processing fees, if no work has begun
• After work has started: Payments are generally non-refundable. Any refund is at our sole discretion based on work completed to date
• After delivery: No refunds once final deliverables have been handed over and accepted, except where we failed to deliver what was explicitly agreed
• Discord bots: No refund after the bot has been deployed, hosted, and configured
• Bundles: Refunds are calculated per completed component; partial delivery voids full-bundle refunds

To request a refund or cancellation, open a ticket in our Discord server with your order details. Refund requests must be made within 7 days of the issue arising. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method where possible.

8. Chargebacks & disputes

You agree to contact us first through Discord before initiating a chargeback, payment dispute, or PayPal claim. Unauthorized chargebacks on completed or in-progress work may result in:

• Immediate termination of services and access removal
• Revocation of licenses, bot hosting, or delivered assets where legally permitted
• A permanent ban from future TaskForge services

We will provide evidence of delivery, communication, and agreement to payment processors when disputing invalid claims.

9. Client responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing timely feedback, content, branding assets, and Discord server details
• Ensuring you have rights to any content, logos, or materials you supply
• Granting our bot access to your Discord server when invited (no hosting required on your end)
• Maintaining your own domains and website security where applicable
• Backing up your own data; we are not liable for data loss after handoff
• Using deliverables lawfully and in compliance with Discord Terms of Service and applicable laws

Delays caused by your inaction may extend timelines and are not grounds for a refund.

10. Intellectual property

Upon full payment, you receive ownership or license rights to the final deliverables as agreed in your order, excluding:

• Pre-existing code, libraries, frameworks, and third-party assets we use
• Our internal tools, templates, and reusable components not created solely for you
• TaskForge branding and marketing materials

Until full payment is received, all work remains the property of TaskForge. We may showcase completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing before delivery.

11. Discord bots & hosting

For Discord bot services:

• TaskForge provides all bot hosting—infrastructure, uptime, and deployment are handled by us, not the Client
• We set up, host, and maintain the bot; you only need to add it to your Discord server via our invite link
• Redeem/role bots and custom Discord bots may connect to any website you specify; you are responsible for that site’s security and compliance
• Hosting is included on all standard bot tiers unless otherwise stated in your quote
• We are not responsible for Discord API changes, platform-wide outages, or server bans resulting from your community’s use of the bot
• Bot removal, reconfiguration, or migration after delivery may incur additional fees

12. Custom projects

Custom-tier websites and bespoke work are quoted individually. These projects require a written scope (Discord ticket/message) covering features, price, timeline, and full payment before work begins. Custom quotes override standard tier assumptions where they conflict.

13. Warranty & support

We warrant that deliverables will substantially match the agreed scope at handoff. A 14-day bug-fix window applies to defects in our work—not feature requests, hosting issues, or third-party failures.

Ongoing support, maintenance, and updates beyond this window are not included unless purchased separately.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TaskForge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid us for that specific order. We do not guarantee specific business results from websites, bots, or tools we deliver.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate services if you breach these Terms, abuse staff, commit fraud, or initiate bad-faith disputes. You may terminate before delivery subject to the refund rules in Section 7.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced in our Discord server where practical.

Do not rely on unofficial channels or impersonators. TaskForge will only handle orders and refunds through our official Discord.
